Our grateful thanks to Rachel Hennessy as she stands down as a Trustee of PRIME
Rachel
Hennessy has resigned as a Trustee with effect from 31st December
2024. Rachel has been involved with PRIME since attending the Annual Conference
in 2013. She became a PRIME Tutor in 2016, visiting Pakistan in that capacity, and
became a Trustee in 2017. She brought her skills in psychiatry, medical education and healthcare management to bear in many different
ways in PRIME. She has chaired the Finance Group and taken Trustee
responsibility for HR and was very involved in developing PRIME’s 5 year
strategic plan.
David Butler, previous Chair of Trustees and
current Trustee, said “I have appreciated working over the years with Rachel
as she became more involved with PRIME, as a fellow Trustee and she has become a
good friend. I have really appreciated Rachel’s wise contribution in her work
as a Trustee and her knowledge and wide experience that she contributed to the Trustee
Board. We are very sad to see her leave the Trustee Board. During her time with PRIME, she has faced
difficult personal health issues together with family illness. I and all
my colleagues in PRIME wish her well for the future and we know she will
continue to support PRIME.”
