New online event - Community Psychological Support - Now booking
This four-module workshop is an opportunity to learn and/or improve basic psychological tools that can be used by everyone, clinician and non-clinician, anxious beginner to skilled practitioner, spiritual companion, friend, primary care or hospital clinician, and anyone else who is interested in helping people going through troubling times.
- Session 1: Listening Well and Psychosocial Support - May 25th
- Session 2: Psychological First Aid for Everyone - June 22nd
- Session 3: Helping Families Manage Children’s Difficulties and Parenting Tips - July 27th
- Session 4: We need to talk about Suicide - August 3rd
All sessions will start at 7.00pm and end at 8.15pm UK time.
The series will be led by PRIME tutors with experience including clinical care setting and teaching globally health care staff, young people, church, and other community groups.
Each workshop will feature help tools that are:
- Simple to learn
- Easy to remember
- Effective to use
- For everyone
- Useful for teaching
Everyone will be encouraged to take part in discussion and exercises in the usual PRIME interactive style.
Built on tried and tested materials used in our programmes each workshop is an opportunity to learn and/or improve basic psychological tools that can be used by everyone, clinician and non-clinician, anxious beginner to skilled practitioner, spiritual companion, friend, primary care or hospital clinician, and anyone else who is interested in helping people going through troubling times.
