Could you be part of our office support team?
Working or volunteering for us will provide you with an exciting and challenging opportunity to progress your career and the chance to make a real difference to people’s lives. All our administrative activity is carried out in our pleasant office in St Leonards on the South coast of England, working within a lively and dedicated team.
All our roles allow for flexible working patterns by agreement with the role supervisor.
Office team members are not required to be Christians, though they should have an understanding of the principles and values of the organisation and will be expected to abide by these.
Admin and Governance Officer - Full time - £21,000 per annum
We are looking for an experienced administrator to join our growing office team.
There are three main aspects to this position, which requires a well-motivated person with initiative and drive plus proven ability both to take responsibility for the key governance and administrative tasks of a growing organisation and to participate in the development of new projects.
Finance Officer - Part time (max. one day per week). Preferably voluntary but salary can be negotiated
We are looking for an experienced charity bookkeeper to join our office team.
PRIME, in common with many charities, holds funds in a number of restricted funds as well as a general fund. We already have well-established financial and reporting structures and processes in place. We currently use Quickbooks Pro software. PRIME is essentially run electronically with a minimum of paper correspondence. The position therefore inevitably demands sound knowledge and experience of accounting practices, good practice and legislation and a high degree of computer literacy and may require familiarity with databases and internet communications. The post will be based in the PRIME central office with support from the Operations Manager and PRIME Treasurer.
Our payroll function is presently being provided by our Treasurer and there are no plans to change this.
Unsurprisingly given the nature of PRIME's activities we recognise that people from different backgrounds can bring fresh perspective and skills. We therefore value diversity and welcome interest from all sections of the community and are committed to building and reinforcing a culture where people value each other and treat each other with dignity and respect.
